Nahargarh Fort stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan.Nahargarh mean ‘abode of tigers’. Legend says that the fort was named as Nahargarh after the spirt of a Rathore, Nahar Singh.

This is one of the famous fort in Aravali mountain. This fort is build by sawai jai singh. This fort is build for queens. Exterior of food is very good. There is nothing much to see inside the fort.

Nahargarh Fort was commissioned in the year 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Placed on the lofty Aravalli Hills, the fort was a retreat palace for the ruler. There is also a legend connected to the fort.

The fort was originally built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734 but was turned into ruins by 1868.

The city is extremely well-connected to the other parts of the country and the world through a multitude of transportation modes. The domestic airport is at a distance of 7 km from the main city at Sanganer, while the international airport is at a distance of 10 km.
